CLASSES IX-XII

CURRICULUM (IX-X)

The school curriculum is planned as per the guidelines and the scheme of studies provided by CBSE

The following core subjects are offered to the students in classes IX and X:

    English Communicative
    Mathematics
    Science
    Social Sciences
    Hindi /German/ French/Sanskrit/Japanese

(Additional Hindi  is offered as an optional subject. Home Science, Painting, FIT may be considered only in special cases as per the policy of the school)

Besides the core subjects, students also study Arts, Dance and Music. They also undertake activities specified by CBSE under Health and Physical Education in the course of the year.

CURRICULUM (XI- XII)

As per CBSE curriculum guidelines, the students choose five main subjects, with English(Core) being compulsory for all.

The school offers three main streams- Science (Medical and Non Medical), Commerce (with and without Mathematics) and Humanities.

The following subjects are offered in the three streams respectively:

Science (Medical and Non Medical):

    Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Biology, Psychology, Economics, Physical Education and Painting.

Commerce (with and without Mathematics):

    Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship, Psychology, Informatics Practices,
    Physical Education, Painting, Home Science, Dance (Kathak) and Music Hindustani Instrumental (Percussion).

Humanities

    Political Science, Geography, Psychology, Economics, Mathematics, Physical Education, Painting, Informatics Practices, Home Science and Entrepreneurship.

The subjects are offered in pre-defined combinations.

Students may also take up an optional sixth subject from Physical Education, Home Science, Painting and Dance.

Besides English, General Studies and Health and Physical Education are compulsory for all groups.

The students are also offered a choice of activities like  Animation and Multimedia, Photography, Science Club, Maths Club, Debate Club, Choreography Club, Social Service.
