First Aid is the immediate and temporary care given to the victim of an accident or sudden illness. The main purpose of first aid is to preserve life, assist recovery and prevent aggravation of the condition until the availability of a doctor is ensured. Students trained with First Aid are thus equipped to help their peer, family members and anyone else who might need assistance.

An important aspect of adult life involves striking a balance between income and expenditure. Budgeting the household expenditure is extremely important. This activity teaches learners the skill of balancing the household expenditure keeping in mind the overall well being of the family.

This is one of the most well loved activities in which students try their culinary skills in preparing salads, sandwiches and other dishes. This activity teaches learners to be self reliant.

As a part of prevocational skill development students are taught to make soft toys with easily available materials. The creativity of students is showcased the best in such an activity.

Self-expression, independent research, constructive activities etc. are some of the opportunities provided by the Science Club. It is a platform for ‘Learning by Doing’. It is like a bridge between in-school and out-of-school learning and fosters the development of skills, such as experimentation, critical thinking, and problem solving.

Photography club in DPSSL is a platform to unleash ones creativity. The main focus is on learning about various features of DSLR cameras to capture moments in a frame which is refreshing to the senses and generate the required impact.

Social Service Club helps its members to learn to respect people and how to fulfill their responsibilities to serve the community. Based on this motto, various activities are planned that aim to offer a chance to students to contribute to the society and through this learn to have a positive attitude towards life.

Objectives of the Commerce Club is to expose students to meet the practical challenges in the current business scenario. The club aims at building the self-confidence and increasing the financial literacy among students.

Mathematics Club is a club that aims at creating a love for Mathematics, a subject often dreaded by students. Any student of grades IX –XII can participate in a wide gamut of fun and competitive activities. The club explores Math beyond textbooks and students learn to apply the knowledge acquired in day-to-day situations.
