  • PUBLIC SPEAKING AND DRAMATICS ACTIVITY

    Hindi: Students are provided a platform to nurture and develop oratory skills in Hindi language. Activities such as Jam, thinking out of the box, Role Play, and Drama and Poem Recitation are held to enhance the public speaking skills of students

    English:Activities in English motivate students to work independently. These activities help children to develop their own ideas and then express them according to their own capacity. It helps in enhancement of their oratory skills and also nurtures their ability to work in groups.

  • MATH ACTIVITY

    Mathematical activities provide opportunities to students to discover the basic relation between math and reality. It also develops a flexible but disciplined way of thinking, understanding the concept better, discovering things and searching for creative solutions.

  • THE HANDICRAFT ACTIVITY

    The Handicraft Activity offers students a wide variety of handicraft and fine art classes. Planned each year to reflect students’ interests, classes are offered during all the semesters. Handicraft classes include making pen stand with ice- cream sticks , creating a chandelier using A4 size sheets , using newspaper to make flower vases etc.

  • THE EXPLORING OUR HERITAGE ACTIVITY

    The Heritage Activity was initiated for the students of Middle School with the purpose of creating awareness, preserving and promoting our varied and rich ancient culture and traditions, among the young learners. It conducts various activities for students that encourage them to learn about our traditions, culture and religious diversity. Content of the club is organised and planned at the starting of every session. This is our way of increasing students’ interest in knowing about history.

    We at DPS SushantLok, believe strongly in the holistic development of the learners placed in our care. This makes it imperative to hone not only their academic abilities but also other skills and latent talents, so that the students blossom into individuals capable of meeting all challenges of life. In keeping with the ethos of the school, in the session 2019-20, students of classes VI-VIII and XI were given an exposure to MYNT (My Next Thing).

    Project MYNT aims to equip students with the required skills and experience to take over the world tomorrow. This is done by means of especially curated capsules under experienced professionals that include Skill Development, Practical Learning and Internship Opportunities.
