Football  is a very popular game in the school. Besides developing   physical strength and motor skills, students learn how to tackle problems quickly, as it is a fast-paced game . School runs a football academy that gives specialized coaching to the students before and after school hours. Football teams of all categories participate in  inter -school competitions and  represent at state and national level .

Delhi Public School Sushant Lok  hosts 'Maharaja Hari Singh Inter School Football Tournament’ to uphold the virtue of  gamesmanship. Several inter and intra house/class matches for students form a part of Tuesday and Friday sports activity.
