It was little more than 10 years back that my wife and me selected DPS Sushant Lok as the institution that would help shape our son’s foundation. Little did we know how the school would meet each of our expectations and even exceed some.Right from Pre-Nursery, my son has always loved attending the school and never found a reason to stay away. This is a testimony to the personal touch of teachers while maintaining a professional balance. The school has always provided ample opportunities of all-round development by means of workshops, inter and intra-school competitions, school assemblies, sporting events etc. This continues to shape my son’s overall personality and he would always be indebted to his school and teachers for their invaluable contribution.

Drishti took admission in DPSSL last year and after missing her old school and friends terribly in the initial phase, she has settled quite well in the school and has been able to make a number of new friends. Jump Start is a very good initiative by the primary wing to help children start their day with shloka. And specially the part ‘Simile’ & ‘What If ? are simply amazing. During this time of distress and discomfort our school, DPS Sushant Lok,has done its best and put all its efforts towards the education of its children in lockdown.The online classes, workshops and the extra curricular activities have brought both the students and teachers much closer and also helped them to debate and discuss about day to day activities.The teachers’ guidance has helped the students to form a timetable which they can stick to and be regular in their studies without any complications. Despite the constraints, there has been no change in the level of education provided by the teachers and they have been assisting all the students regularly which would for sure be an advantage in the upcoming exams. The Lockdown came in the very week when the kids were due to get their results and promoted to the next class. But the school management and faculty turned the tide in their favour by shifting everything online!The ERP student portal uploaded all results, promotion list, names of respective new subject teachers and the study material within a week. The teachers started taking online classes from the day actual classes were supposed to begin. Kids were given assignments and all course books were uploaded in PDF manner and shared with kids. It is so difficult for the class teacher to handle 30 students ,none of whom she has ever met ,but by the way my daughter’s new class teacher Richa Makker Ma’am has handled the new batch and the kids are really enjoying interacting with her.The best part is that not only curricular, but co-scholastic activities are also being done. Kids are advised to follow all precautions regarding COVID-19 with regular updates, entries were invited for online photography competition and online newspaper write-ups showcasing student-talent is also being encouraged. Kids were also made aware of importance of “Earth Day” which actually had skipped out of all of our minds this year!! The way our school is dealing with the situation, our kids’ future is secure!
