Grade 10 is considered as a crossroad in the career path of any student and it is normal to have a lot of confusion and dilemma on what lies ahead. A virtual interactive session was thus organized for the grade 10 students and their parents on 20th March 2021.
The session was spearheaded by the Vice Principal, Ms. Roopali Kudesia who provided a bird’s eye view of the impending assessment module of Grade 10 through a presentation.
Parents were made aware of the 'Bridge Programme' which would upscale student's academics and plug in any loopholes that arose due to the absence of offline teaching in the past year.
Ms. Kudesia also informed the audience about the availability of the different versions in the subject of Mathematics in grade 10 and the criteria for opting one over the other.
A Question - Answer session between the parents and the Vice Principal were moderated by the class rep, Ms. Parul Prakash after the culmination of the presentation.
Ms. Kudesia took up parent concerns related to the teaching mode amidst the COVID crisis, availability of transport, interaction with subject teachers during PTMs and due stress on practical exposure required by the students in the subject of Science.
The session ended with the customary vote of thanks by the class rep. The parents conveyed their gratitude to the DPSSL team for conducting such a session and were hopeful of more such open forums in the future.
