The Delhi Public School Society-Human Resource Development Centre organized an online training session on ‘Best Practices in Art Integration- Physics and Chemistry’ on November 25, 2020 for the teachers of grades VI-VIII.

The webinar was aimed to train teachers for integrating various art forms whether visual or performing in teaching learning process so as to help the learners discover the world of science around them according to their capabilities in an easier and dynamic way. The basic idea is to enhance the observation, curiosity, exploration and creative free expression among the students.
Teachers from eight DPS schools as panelists demonstrated how some of the scientific concepts like magnetism, electric circuit, natural phenomenon, measurement of length, properties of acids and bases and the properties of metals and non- metals can be beautifully explained through puppetry art, role play, dance, skit, poem, and through story- telling sessions as well as card fold activities.
The most important role of the teachers is to ensure the participation of each and every child.

The learning platform was an engaging one and the teachers stepped out equipped with more confidence and numerous wonderful ideas for their classroom teaching.The session was attended by Ms. Deepa Yadav.
