On the occasion of 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, students and teachers of Delhi Public School Sushant Lok organised a FIT INDIA Plogging Run as part of the nationwide Fitness Movement initiated by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. As a befitting tribute to the Father of the Nation, the entire student body took a Swachata Pledge. Subsequently a group of over 50 students along with teachers went for a Plogging run of 2 miles around the school collecting plastic waste and garbage from homes, streets and open spaces along the path of the run, shouting slogans and carrying placards with messages. They also made people aware that it is our duty to serve Mother India by keeping our country clean by and being fit and healthy citizens
