For good ideas and true innovation, you need human interaction, conflict, argument and debate.
On 27th January 2025 the Primary wing of Delhi Public School Sushant Lok organized an Inter–House English Debate competition, WAR of WORDS, for the students of class V. Two students from each of the six Houses spoke ‘For’ and ‘Against’ the topics ‘It Is Better to Read Books Than to Watch Movies’, ‘Children Must Help in Household Chores’ and ‘AI, a Boon or a Bane’. The Judges, Ms Neera Channan and Ms Shubhi Basantani appreciated the participants and shared their valuable tips integral to any good debate.
Students spoke eloquently, expressing their view with conviction. The Headmistress Primary Wing Ms Ruchi Kathpalia, lauded each participant and called each one a winner, appreciating their confidence and stage presence. Parents were amazed at the flawless presentations by such young students.
