Students of the Primary Wing of Delhi Public School Sushant Lok, marked the Dussehra festivity by being a part of few celebratory and yet, educative activities.
The students of classes 4 and 5, on 8th October, spoke about their favourite character, from the epic Ramayana, emphasising their learning from those.
The students of classes 2 to 5 witnessed the General Assembly presented by class 5E on 10th of Oct’ 24, on the topic Dussehra. Along with the auspicious Gayatri Mantra and a prayer song, the assembly commenced with a prayer, initiated by the Junior School Headmistress Ms Ruchi Kathpalia.
The students presented a beautiful dance rendition depicting the nine forms of Goddess Durga. A short Ramleela skit portraying Lord Rama’s life from childhood to Ravana Vaddh was presented highlighting His virtues.
The Principal, Ms Tejaswini Katdare, appreciated the students’ efforts and spoke about the teachings from the Ramayana and also about daily habits to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
