It is no surprise that our students leave no stone unturned in creating a marvellous future for themselves, evidence of which was in this year’s Scholar Badge Ceremony of the Primary Wing of Delhi Public School Sushant Lok. The hardworking students of grades IV and V were awarded for their meritorious academic performance in the previous academic session, 2023-24. 68 students of Grade IV were awarded Merit Certificates and 48 students of grade V were given Scholar Badges. 3 students of grade IV also got full attendance trophies.

For an auspicious beginning, Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge was invoked through lighting of the lamp. This was followed by a mesmerising Ganesh Stuti dance recital, a fusion of Bharatnatyam and Kathak.

It was a moment of elation for the school and the parents as the students walked up to the stage to receive their awards from our Chief Guest Dr N. Madhuri Parti, an academician and a visionary par excellence. In her address to the parents, Ms Parti congratulated them on the achievements of their children and urged them to maintain utmost respect and regard for the school and the teachers particularly in front of their children.

In an invigorating address, the school Director Principal Ms Mahua Das Gupta spoke about these academic awards being a symbol of honour & appreciation for the work & commitment that these students put in. The ceremony concluded with the Headmistress Primary Wing Ms Ruchi Kathpalia proposing the vote of thanks. She congratulated the students on their great achievement and wished them great success in charting a bright future!
