Ms. Leena Singhal , Vice Principal – Junior School (Pre-Nursery to V)
Ms. Leena Singhal is an accomplished educator with over 30 years of distinguished experience in early childhood and primary education. A postgraduate in English Literature from Lucknow University, she has served with deep commitment at DPS Vasant Kunj and later at DPS Sushant Lok, where she joined in 2013 as the Pre-Primary Coordinator and went on to lead as Senior Headmistress of the Primary Wing. Rejoining DPS Sushant Lok as Vice Principal - Junior School, Ms. Singhal brings renewed affection, selfless dedication, and a strong belief in all round child development. Her educational philosophy emphasizes 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, digital fluency, and essential life skills.
Known for her inclusive and innovative approach, she designs developmental pathways that allow children to learn at their own pace within a warm, well-structured environment. Her leadership has consistently aligned the curriculum with global best practices, ensuring meaningful and joyful learning experiences for young learners.

Ms. Kawaljeet Kaur, Headmistress - Pre Primary (Trinity Wisdom Education Welfare and Cultural Society)

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Kaur is driven by a clear mission—to nurture the whole child: intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. A certified Early Years Curriculum Developer (IEYP) from Kunskapsskolan, Sweden, and a trained SEN Coach under KHDA, UAE, she brings a well-rounded and inclusive approach to early learning.
Throughout her journey, Kawaljeet has been associated with some of India’s most reputed and forward-thinking educational institutions. She has been at the forefront of curriculum innovation and teacher development, seamlessly integrating global best practices with contextual relevance. She has designed and facilitated impactful training programmes, capacity-building workshops, and professional learning modules for educators across diverse settings—always with the aim of fostering emotionally safe, stimulating, and joyful environments for both learners and teachers.
Her key areas of expertise include early childhood education and development, integrated curriculum design, mindfulness and SEL, inclusive pedagogies, and differentiated instruction. As a mentor to both teachers and parents, she builds partnerships that support every child’s unique learning journey.
Ms. Shalini Gupta, Middle School Coordinator (VI to VIII)
Ms Shalini Gupta is a firm believer in child-centric teaching and management approaches, and views education as a journey of curiosity, empathy, and discovery, striving always to create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore their potential.
With over 23 years of rich experience in education, she has been a cornerstone of the Junior School, leading the English Department and guiding the holistic development of students through both academics and co-curricular engagement. A recognized knowledge resource, Ms. Gupta has also actively participated in CBSE-accredited workshops, NEP-aligned training, and programs on inclusive classrooms, language assessment, innovative pedagogy, and student wellbeing.
