Bringing this thought to life, Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok hosted Discover India – Gujarat, a signature experiential learning programme of the Primary Wing, on Tuesday, 14th July 2026, at the Gulmohar Hall.
The students of Class 2A captivated the audience with an engaging travel-vlogger-themed presentation, taking everyone on a memorable journey through the Land of Lions and Legends. Through expressive drama, vibrant Garba, music, dance and creative storytelling, they beautifully showcased Gujarat's rich culture, heritage, iconic landmarks, renowned personalities, traditional attire, cuisine and entrepreneurial spirit.
The presentation was the culmination of days of immersive learning, followed by recap worksheets and a shared Gujarati culinary experience that further reinforced the children's understanding of the state's rich heritage.
The programme was graced by the presence of Vice Principal (Senior School), Capt. Rekha Kapoor; Vice Principal (Junior School), Ms. Leena Singhal; the Headmistresses of various wings, teachers, and parents, whose enthusiastic presence and encouragement added to the joy of the occasion. The event concluded with an inspiring address by Vice Principal (Junior School), Ms. Leena Singhal, reaffirming the school's commitment to nurturing culturally aware, confident, and future-ready learners through meaningful experiences beyond the classroom.
