When voices from different worlds converge, dialogue becomes more than conversation, it becomes a force for understanding. DPSSL Luminara Model United Nations 2026 brought this spirit alive at Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok, across 8 and 9 August 2026, transforming the school into a vibrant forum of diplomacy, deliberation and diverse perspectives.
The conference commenced on the morning of 8 August with the ceremonial inauguration and an inspiring address by Chief Guest Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri, who shared reflections from his diplomatic journey and emphasised how platforms such as LUMINARA nurture the calibre, confidence and potential of young minds. Over two days, delegates engaged in stimulating deliberations across eight committees, guided by experienced Executive Boards. On 9 August, Smt. Savitri Kunadi, former Indian Ambassador and diplomat, reflected on her remarkable journey from diplomatic assignments to UNESCO and the United Nations, offering students a glimpse into the world of international diplomacy. She also chaired the United Nations Security Council, directly mentoring delegates through nuanced deliberations. The conference concluded with cultural performances, accolades and a renewed commitment to the power of dialogue.
