‘A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies… the man who never reads lives only one’.
The students of Class IV C conducted an engaging assembly on World Book Day, highlighting the importance of reading. The assembly included the thought for the day, followed by international, national, and campus news.
An exciting quiz based on famous books and authors added an element of fun and learning. The highlight of the assembly was the Character Parade, where students beautifully portrayed well-known literary characters, bringing stories to life on stage.
The programme also included a meaningful poem and a pledge, encouraging students to make books their lifelong companions.
The assembly concluded with motivating words from Vice Principal, Ms. Leena Singhal, and a promise by the students to develop a regular reading habit.
