‘Harvest is not just the gathering of crops, but the celebration of gratitude, abundance, and community.’
To celebrate the spirit of India’s harvest festivals, a Poster Making Activity was organised for the students of Class V on Tuesday, 7 April 2026. The objective of the activity was to deepen students’ understanding of the cultural significance of festivals such as Pongal, Baisakhi, Lohri, and Onam, while providing them an opportunity to express their ideas creatively through art.
The students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing remarkable creativity. Their posters were adorned with vibrant colours and thoughtful messages, beautifully capturing themes such as gratitude towards farmers, celebration of nature, traditional cuisine, folk dances, and unity in diversity.
The activity not only enhanced the students’ artistic skills but also fostered an appreciation for India’s rich cultural heritage. Overall, the poster-making session was a great success, creating a joyful and meaningful learning experience for all.
