Where Ideas Found Their Voice: Maiden Edition of TEDxDPSSLYouth at
DPS Sushant Lok- Gurugram
Delhi Public School Sushant Lok, Gurugram successfully hosted the maiden edition of
TEDxDPSSLYouth 2026 on 4 April 2026, themed Labyrinth of Light, bringing together inspiring voices
from diverse fields.
The event was graced by Chief Patron and Mentor Shri N. K. Singh, one of India’s foremost
economists and public policy leaders, along with Director Ms. Meenakshi Singh, Vice Principal
(Senior Wing) Capt. (Retd.) Rekha Kapoor, and distinguished luminary Shri Amod K. Kanth, Founder
and Mentor, Prayas JAC Society; Former DGP (IPS); and former Chairman, Delhi Commission for
Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR). Also present was Mr. Sanjiv Kaura, Chief Functionary Officer,
Times Foundation, along with eminent speakers, educators, members of the media, parents, and
students.
The programme commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a cultural presentation.
Shri N. K. Singh delivered a powerful keynote address, setting the tone for a day of meaningful
dialogue. A distinguished line-up of speakers—including Ms. Nisha Bhakar, Dr. Komal Manshani, Dr.
Karan Bhalla, Ms. Riaa Malhotra, Ms. Ananya Dhanuka, Mr. Arun Bhati, Ms. Jinnie Gogia Chugh, and
Mr. Prasoon Sarkar—shared insightful perspectives on fitness, psychology, education, leadership,
and innovation.
Student speakers Nandini Pathania and Vikhram Karthik reflected the strength and promise of young
voices. The Hindustani School Orchestra and The Saga of TEDx added depth to the experience.
Curated by Ms. Neera Channan, the event embodied the spirit of ‘Ideas Worth Spreading,’
empowering voices to create meaningful impact.
Director Ms. Meenakshi Singh, whose dynamic leadership extends across institutions including DPS
Kangra, DPS Kota, The Tribhuvan School, Patna, and her association with the Tribhuvan College of
Environment and Development Sciences at the Nalanda University Centre, Neemrana, remarked,
“At DPS Sushant Lok, we believe every child carries an idea worth sharing—TEDxDPSSLYouth is our
commitment to giving those ideas a voice that can inspire the world.”
