On 26th February 2026, Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok hosted a heart-warming Annual Presentation by the students of Grade II, showcasing their delightful adaptation of Malgudi Days. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by an inspiring address by Vice Principal (Senior), Capt. Rekha Kapoor, who emphasized the importance of experiential and creative learning in a child’s overall development.
The presentation beautifully captured the simplicity, warmth and innocence of the fictional town created by R. K. Narayan. Through expressive drama, music, dance and narration, the young performers brought to life beloved characters such as Swami, Mani and Rajam, along with the everyday charm of Malgudi. Their confidence, coordination, and vibrant costumes transported the audience straight into the nostalgic world of the story.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice Principal (Junior), Ms. Leena Singhal, who expressed gratitude to the parents, teachers and support staff for their encouragement, teamwork and dedication in making the event a memorable success.
