‘Where knowledge blooms, freedom flourishes.’
On 22 January 2026, the students of Classes II C and II D presented a vibrant and meaningful assembly celebrating Republic Day and Basant Panchami with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The assembly commenced with a soulful prayer led by the Vice Principal (Junior School), Ms. Leena Singhal, followed by the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra and the Thought for the Day, setting a serene and reflective tone for the morning.
The celebration of Basant Panchami, the festival dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, added a refreshing cultural charm to the occasion. Dressed gracefully in shades of yellow, symbolising prosperity and joy, the students welcomed the arrival of spring through melodious songs. They eloquently shared the significance of the festival, highlighted the virtues of knowledge and learning, and paid a heartfelt tribute to Goddess Saraswati.
To honour the spirit of Republic Day, the students presented a colourful dance performance that beautifully showcased India’s rich cultural diversity. Their energetic presentation reflected the core values of the Indian Constitution—unity, equality, and justice. A mesmerising rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ filled the atmosphere with pride and deep patriotism.
Ms. Leena Singhal appreciated the sincere efforts of the students and encouraged them to uphold the ideals of unity, responsibility, respect, and a lifelong love for learning.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired, enriched, and proud to be Indian.
