Delhi Public School Sushant Lok organized a fun, food and frolic extravaganza, Starlit Earth Christmas Carnival on 20th December 2025 where parents and students turned up in large numbers. The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri. N.K Singh- (eminent academician, economist, policymaker, parliamentarian) and Pro Vice Chairperson, DPS Sushant Lok, Ms. Meenakshi Singh.
The carnival was inaugurated with the lighting of candles and ribbon cutting by the school’s Director Principal- Ms. Mahua Das Gupta, Ms. Leena Singhal-Vice Principal, Junior School, Ms. Priyanka Tandon-Academic Advisor (Pre-Primary) from the Trinity Wisdom Education Welfare and Cultural Society; Ms. Kawaljeet Kaur- Headmistress- Pre- Primary; Ms. Savera Dayal- Senior School Coordinator; and Ms. Shalini Gupta- Middle School Coordinator. The carnival organized food and game stalls and rides for children, DJ Floor for the teens and musical and dance performances for their parents. A special ‘Mom and Me’ and ‘Dad and Me’ Ramp Walk was organized with many enthusiastic parents taking part in it. The School Orchestra enthralled the audience by singing Christmas carols. The arrival of Santa Claus at the carnival spread smiles over the children’s faces. BOHO NOEL- A Christmas Handicraft Market by young artisans presented by Apple Blossom was the special focus for the day. The NORTH POLE Lab designed as Santa’s playful workshop invited little children to tinker, test, build and discover through hands-on festive activities. The Elf Lab showcased science projects on the theme- ‘Innovation, for a Smarter, Cleaner and Sustainable Future’. Sada Punjab showcased authentic Punjabi delicacies like Sarson ka Saag with Makki ki Roti. Lassi, Kulhad Chai, and Amritsari Chole with Naan, Idli, Dosa platters, taste bhelpuri were other sumptuous foods offered by a variety of food stalls. There were vendors for clothing, cosmetics, books, crockery, bangles, jewellery etc. Many lucky draws prizes were given away by the school. A Flash Mob of the students dancing on the musical beats was another surprise package of the carnival. The carnival witnessed hoard of excited little ones enjoying themselves on the variety of rides and fun games.
The zest and zeal exhibited by an enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made the carnival a memorable one, creating some magical and memorable moments with near and dear ones to cherish.
