Bringing this thought to life, the students of Delhi Public School Sushant Lok, Gurugram, from Grades IX and X, participated enthusiastically in an engaging intra-class activity titled ‘Expressive Words- Calligraphy’ on Thursday, 30 October 2025.
This creative endeavour was designed to celebrate the elegance of handwriting and the expressive power of the timeless art of calligraphy. Each participant selected a slogan, wish, affirmation or quote and rendered it artistically on paper using calligraphy or brush pens, transforming words into visual art.
The objective of this activity was to cultivate aesthetic sensibility, refine fine motor coordination and promote mindfulness through artistic expression. Through this thoughtful initiative, the school continues to foster creativity, discipline and artistic excellence among students, while reaffirming the enduring charm of handwritten art in today’s digital age.
