On 15 and 22 July 2025, the Primary Wing of Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok came alive with numbers, patterns, and playful learning as it celebrated Math Day—a joyful confluence of imagination and intellect.
A series of innovative activities were organized:
- Mathaconda for Class II
- Symmetry Art and Mathalon – Math Hurdle Relay Race for Class III
- Currency Note Design for Class IV
- T-shirt Designing for Class V
- Inter-House Quiz Competition – Grey Buzz for Classes IV and V
Mathematics met creativity, and every child became a young mathematician in action, experiencing math as a language they could speak, wear, and celebrate.
In Mathalon, Yamuna and Chenab House stood first, Jhelum and Ganges House secured the second position, while Ravi and Satluj House bagged the third.
In the quiz Grey Buzz, Chenab House won the first position, followed by Satluj House in second and Ravi House in third place.
Ms. Ritika Malik, Headmistress, Primary Wing, encouraged the students to keep nurturing their love for numbers and problem-solving through experience and exploration.
