To promote healthy eating habits and foster hands-on learning, the Primary Wing of Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok organized a ‘Healthy Salad Making’ activity on 5th August 2025 for students of Classes II and III.
The classrooms were filled with excitement as young learners donned aprons and chef caps, ready to become little chefs for the day. They arrived equipped with a vibrant assortment of freshly chopped fruits and vegetables, along with seasonings like lemon, salt, and chaat masala.
With joy and creativity, the students prepared colourful and nutritious salad bowls, exploring flavours and textures while learning about the importance of healthy food choices. The activity not only encouraged healthy eating but also instilled awareness about hygiene, independence, and creativity.
It was a delightful blend of fun and learning—an experience that nourished both minds and bodies!
