“Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It's about how you drive, not where you're going.”
On July 17, 2025, Class IV-E of Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok, presented a vibrant morning assembly on Mental Wellness, emphasizing the importance of emotional well-being from a young age.
The assembly began with the Gayatri Mantra, a prayer song, and the thought of the day: “Pause. Breathe. Power up.” Students shared campus news and thoughtful insights on mental health. A touching skit depicted a student weighed down by invisible worries—fear of failure, peer pressure, and anxiety. Through a heartfelt conversation with a caring adult, these burdens eased, highlighting the healing power of expressing emotions. This was followed by a soulful rendition of The Climb by the choir and a joyful dance celebrating positivity and strength.
Ms. Ritikaa Malik, Headmistress – Primary Wing, praised the students’ sensitivity and confidence, while Principal Ms. Aparna Magee lauded the assembly for its thoughtful theme and impactful delivery.
The event concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with lasting reflections on the importance of mental wellness.
