The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with immense enthusiasm and deep patriotic fervour at Delhi Public School Sushant Lok- Gurugram . Paying a heartfelt tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices of our freedom fighters, students from all wings came together to honour the nation’s remarkable journey.
The occasion was graced by Chief Guest, Wing Commander Vaibhav Passi along with Ms. Meenakshi Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS Sushant Lok. The event commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony followed by the cultural celebration. A captivating orchestral performance, soul-stirring patriotic songs, dance performances and inspiring speeches infused the gathering with national pride. Adding to the splendour, students presented a graceful display of yoga, reflecting discipline, balance and harmony.
Chief Guest, Wing Commander Vaibhav Passi, in his address appreciated the role of teachers in building the future of the nation. He highlighted the need to live our lives with integrity and pride. School Principal, Ms. Aparna Magee, encouraged students to uphold noble values, strive for excellence and contribute meaningfully to the nation through sincere and dedicated efforts. The special occasion culminated with the national anthem, fostering a spirit of national pride, unity and responsibility among all attendees.
