The curtain fell on the two-day Inter DPS National Table Tennis Girls Tournament hosted by Delhi Public School Sushant Lok on 20 July 2025. The closing ceremony commenced with the august presence of the Chief Guest Mr Vinay Chopra, a decorated professional Table Tennis player, Guest of Honour Ms Dolly Chanana, Joint Director of Delhi Public School Society and Principal, Ms Aparna Magee. The atmosphere was ablaze with applause as the Championship trophy was lifted by DPS Sector-19 Faridabad, the Best Player of the tournament and the winner in the Single Category was bagged by Himanshi Chaudhary, DPS South Bangalore.
Distinguished guests, Mr Vinay Chopra and Ms Dolly Chanana delivered speeches, congratulating the champions, celebrating the artistry of table tennis and echoing the spirit of camaraderie – A true champion is a true champion, they give it their all.
Delivering the Vote of Thanks, Principal Ms Aparna Magee, praised the students' efforts as the tournament had documented memories destined to inspire future generations. She reaffirmed her belief that these games had brought communities together and strengthened the tradition of excellence. Tokens of appreciation were presented to all coaches and match officials as a gesture of gratitude for their valuable mentorship and support. The event concluded with the National Anthem, marking the official end of the ceremony.
