PRATIBIMB 2020 - ONLINE INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION

‘Past is where you learned the lesson, Future is where you apply the lesson’

Students, Ishani Kapur of Class X H and Shambhavi Ganjoo of Class IX D participated in an event ‘Historical Damascus’ ,which was part of an online Inter School Competition ‘Pratibimb 2020’,organized by G.D.Goenka School,Sec-48 on 29th August 2020.The students had to choose a significant historical event of the 19th-20th century and research about the social, cultural and economic impacts of that event as well as its relevance in the present time. The event was a part of the English Literature Category, and the students were judged on the creativity, presentation, originality, relevance to the present context and a tough Q&A round, of their project ‘The Global Economy-Then and Now’. The research project of the students went through a tough selection round to make it to the Final. Ishani and Shambhavi worked as a team and won the Third Position.

In the same competition ‘Pratibimb, Bhavya Jain of Class VII E made the school proud by securing the Second Position in the event ‘Self Composed Hasya Kavita’. She superbly presented her self-written poem'Carona Carona Kuch Karo Na'.

Turvi Ahuja of Class IX B made the school proud by securing the First Position in the event ‘Monologue’. She won the hearts of everyone by superbly presenting ‘Nida Fazli’.
