BAISAKHI AND AMBEDKAR JAYANTI- SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

Morning assemblies at Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok are a special highlight where students get the opportunity to imbibe life lessons that facilitate mental and spiritual development.

On the occasion of Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti, special assemblies by middle and senior school students were organised on 11 April and 12 April respectively. Celebrating new beginnings, the assembly, by class XII-A, commenced with an introductory quote, followed by an insightful speech on the life and contribution of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian constitution. To mark the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, an informative talk highlighting the significance of the festival was presented. The students of class VII-C presented a praiseworthy poem and thoughtful insights on the 'Indian constitution’ followed by a melodious song and a commendable skit symbolising equality.

The assembly concluded with Principal, Surender P. Sachdeva, urging students to adopt the ‘Attitude of Gratitude’. Underscoring the ideals of Ambedkar, sir encouraged students to respect each other and ascertain their duties before claiming their rights.
