“An investment in knowledge gives the highest returns”
-Benjamin Franklin
What exactly is education? Is it familiarity with fundamental abilities, academics, technological fields, citizenship, or something else? Through formal, methodical instruction, education is a social organization that disseminates to its members attitudes, information, beliefs, values, norms, and skills. Learning is an eternal process that involves converting knowledge and skills from information and experience. My understanding of learning is that it involves both the student and the educator and results in gaining both knowledge and capability.
Can you think of a few ways of learning? Yes, schools, colleges, books are some of the various beautiful ways that are available to us to learn what is in and around us. Well, let’s discuss student learning. Knowledge that we attain when we are in school is student learning. I believe student learning is the most crucial learning period of our lives.
What are the magnificent qualities we grasp through student learning? Good learning, like good work should be collaborative and social, not competitive and isolated. Working with others often increases involvement in learning. Sharing one’s own ideas and responding to others reactions improves thinking and deepens understanding. With active learning, students often work on real-world (or simulated) problems for which no correct answer or solution exist. Experiential approaches are more effective overall and promote skills such as problem identification, critical thinking, evaluating evidence, alternative ideas, and tolerance for ambiguity. As students, we attain a lot of knowledge, and also many splendid qualities that help us to direct our knowledge to the right path in the learning process.
While learning, students go through different experiences of team discussions, courses, and more. Therefore, they attain a wonderful skill set that best translates into a good and happy life. In addition, from the basic curriculum, students learn art, sports, and more that helps them both personally and mentally. A connection between the two is intrinsic to prosper as a human being. Besides the curriculum, various modifying assignments and instructional strategies are designed to address the distinct learning needs, interests and aspirations of each and every child at Delhi Public School Sushant Lok-Gurugram.
To sum up, I would like to say that student learning helps the students to act conscientiously and pragmatically, with a good understanding of their emotions and have a better perspective of their future.
