Bombay Stock Exchange in association with Eduheal Foundation conducted a three tier International Finance Olympiad. The Olympiad was open to students of all streams of Grade 11.

Level 1 included a written examination of 50 questions.

A total of 16,000 students attempted the 1st level from all over India.

Five of our students qualified for the 2nd level (Aashna Bhoyar, Akash Agarwal, Divyam Papneja, Vibhav Sethi and Aarsh Malhotra) by securing School Rank 1 and National Rank 2. All of them were presented with Merit Certificates and Gold Medals.

Level 2 was an online examination which included 30 questions.

Akash Agarwal, securing an International Rank 4 at the 2nd level, qualified to the third level which was conducted at the International Convention Hall, Mumbai on 7th April, 2017.

Level 3 included a written examination of 30 MCQs based on Current Business and Financial Affairs on the basis of which top students were selected for the Quiz which was staged in front of the audience.

Akash Agarwal secured the 2nd position and was awarded a Merit Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 by the CEO of Bombay Stock Exchange (Mr. Ashish Chauhan).

The event was broadcast on the News channels and live streaming was done on the Facebook.

All in all, it was a wonderful learning experience for the students as they dwelled deeper into the financial world and strengthened their financial literacy.
