What if these apparatuses present today, known as “computers” never existed? What if there was no cloud like the internet present? What if the world was still in the medieval period, without technology, without other monstrosities of the modern world? We trust these “computers” or the technology with the secrets to the human bodies, the human genes, and the human brains…
Imagine a technology that can study your DNA and use it for tracking, and improving your health, helping you fight diseases and so on. Genomics is precisely the technology that uses the help of computers, technology and peruses upon the making-up of genes, DNAs and mapping them. Further, this can help quantify your genetics and find possible problems and diseases which can later on result in health issues. There’s no doubt that the technology and these computers have transformed the medical industry but imagine a perfect world with human beings predicting the upcoming diseases which might be fatal to human-kind, but of course that is just imagination slowly turning into real life which wouldn’t be without the aid of the technology we have available today.
Due to lack of a little awareness and trust on an apparatus or tech made cure for every existing problem that occurs in the human body just by rearranging your genetics people do not opt for this method even if it might be the best way forward, people have started considering technological gadgets as a fundamental being whereas, these gadgets are just instruments made by man to carry out their beck and call. We define what technology can do and what it cannot do and there is no point in establishing untrue controversies on the reliability of a technology without any evidence when all a technology does is what man defines it to do. This world that people have started imagining because of technology and are converting this dream into reality with the aid of technology sounds too good to be true and when human minds are involved nothing can be impossible. There is no harm in giving technology a fair chance at play with this mechanism which could be the defining point of a new era which just might be the world people working on genomics imagine it to be, the perfect world all with the help of technology which has had an important role in transforming the world.
