Investiture Ceremony - Primary

Hope and aspiration to become ‘leaders of tomorrow’ begins from school. To inculcate the leadership qualities and to give them a feel of the functioning of the school, a new batch of students is inducted in the student council every year. The Primary Wing of DPS, Sushant Lok celebrated the Investiture Ceremony on 18th July 2019, where 53 deserving students were sworn in as members of the Student Council for the session 2019-20.

The special day started with an equally special song by the Junior School choir- ‘J Imagine’- a fusion of French and English song.

Pro-Vice Chairperson Ms. Meenakshi Singh Pathania graced the Special Ceremony. Principal, Dr Amita Saxena, welcomed the parents and endorsed the importance of imparting leadership skills onto our ‘youngest administrators’ and to train them to be responsible and independent decision makers of tomorrow.  She also congratulated the newly appointed Student Council, who marched in smartly with their heads held high.

Following the pinning of the badges, the newly appointed Head Boy and Head Girl spoke about the promises and responsibilities they would shoulder in this academic session. The Best House Rolling Trophy was won by Ravi House for the previous academic session, 2018-19. House Warden Ms. Lata Dixit received the trophy from the Principal.

Headmistress Primary School, Ms. Leena Singhal, proposed the Vote Of Thanks and the programme concluded with the National Anthem.
