Orientation Programs for Parents of Class VI

An Orientation programme was organized for the parents of Grade 6 on April 30, 2016 to familiarise them with the scholastic and co-scholastic domains of class VI curriculum and thereby facilitate the smooth transition of the learners from primary to middle school.

Ms. Sunita Nagpal, the Principal welcomed all the parents. She highlighted the important role played by the parents in ensuring that the students get adjusted to class VI. She also apprised the parents about the laurels and achievements brought by the students in various scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

Ms. Sinjini Roy, the Head Mistress of Middle and Senior Wing, acquainted the gathering about the intricacies of the curriculum -CCE pattern, the assessment criteria, the activity clubs, class activities, events and educational tours. She held her head high when she announced the QAP result, wherein our school has surpassed the DPS mean as per the analysis done by DPS society.

The parents were also oriented about the value education conducted in school through the innovative concept of School Cinema.They were given a bird’s eye view of the same.

The parents opined that the programme had indeed clarified their doubts and equipped them better to guide their wards.
