A great day and a proud moment for every Indian .India celebrated its 68th Republic Day on 26th January 2017. DPS Sushant Lok too was all set to celebrate this great day. The day was celebrated in all as its solemnity and patriotism. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of integrity.
TRI COLOUR FLAG MAKING ACTIVITY WITH ICE CREAM STICKS FOR
The National Flag of India is a symbol of honour and freedom for the country. The students of class III saluted the nation by enthusiastically participating in the ‘Tri Colour Flag Making Activity’ on 24th January 2017. Our ‘Tiranga’ is the symbol of unity for the people of different religion living here. The students also used coloured saffron, white & green grain and pulses to create the flag. They also exchanged wrist bands of tricolour among themselves.
TRI COLOUR WIND CHIME MAKING ACTIVITY WITH PAPER FOR CLASS IV
The students of Class IV made colourful and beautiful Wind Chimes on 25th January 2017 to mark the onset of Republic Day celebration. Saffron, white and green Wind Chimes of different sizes adorned the gallery of Primary Wing, adding to the patriotic spirit among students.
TRI COLOUR badges MAKING ACTIVITY WITH PAPER QUILLING FOR CLASS V
The students of Class V made Tri Colour Badges with paper quilling and wore it on their blazers proudly. ‘I’ll serve my country’, ‘I love my country’, I’ll take India to great heights’ were few of the beautiful messages on the badges in the hues of tricolour.
