Workshop on TV5 Monde for French Teachers

A workshop was organized by Indian Association of Teachers of French (North Zone) in collaboration with Langers International Pvt Ltd. The Heritage School, Gurgaon hosted the workshop titled “Learn and teach French with TV5 Monde” on 20th January 2017.

 

Ms Parul Saxena and Ms SP Vijayalakshmi attended the workshop from DPS, Sushant Lok. Around 40 French Language teachers from various schools of Delhi NCR participated in the workshop. The resource person was Mdm Mayuri Assudani. Her competencies include teaching French from A1 to C1, trainer of examiners and correctors of DELF-DALF examinations, trainer of Secondary School teachers of French in India and Trainer of Pedagogical resources of TV5 Monde.

 

The day began with a warm welcome extended to Mdm Marie Doublier, Attaché for Educational Cooperation (Institute Français en Inde - IFI) and Mdm Caroline Schmitt, Attaché for the Cooperation in French Language (IFI), Mdm Anuradha Karkun, President, IATF North Zone, the resource person and the participants by the Principal, Mdm Kaye Jacob. The aim of this workshop was to teach French with the aid of TV5 Monde, a website that is simple and practical for teaching.

 

During the session, the teachers were trained on different teaching aids available on the website which can be used while teaching. Audio Visual method of teaching was put to practice by the participants who showed great enthusiasm and gained a lot from this workshop.

The session ended with the distribution of certificates and formal vote of thanks by Mdm Jaya Gadgil, Secretary, IATF.
