Activities in Class II (April & May)

 On 24th April 2017, World Book Day was celebrated in the Primary school to promote love for reading and reading habits amongst children. A Bookmark Making Competition was conducted for Class II. The budding artists made beautiful bookmarks using their creativity and imagination to the fullest with small quotes on reading. They also read a book ‘The Golden Goose’. 

 Story Telling : On 26th April 2017,a story telling session was organized for the students of Classes II in  Amaltas hall. Ms. Simi Srivastava, a life skill trainer and a performing artist, narrated a story to the children. In order to make the story telling session more effective and to hold the attention of children, she narrated the story in a poetic way using music in the background. A little dramatization towards the end made the session more impactful. The children enjoyed the session. 

Mother’s Day celebrations :

To show their love and affection for the moms, class 2 children made beautiful handmade cards using origami art in which they shared their feelings by writing beautiful quotes and thoughts. They also made creative photo frames with pictures of their mother. This not only encouraged children to express their emotions for their mothers but also instilled the values of thankfulness and gratitude.
